The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is a world leader in establishing Health and Safety standards. As a result, in order to stay current and proactive, these standards must be understood and applied. Personnel who adhere to these standards will improve performance and thus increase the company's profitability.
The expectation is that employees will always follow these standards because they are part of the company's policies and procedures. It is necessary to revisit and examine the standards from time to time in order to both refresh and stimulate personnel to greater and more accurate application of the standards. This course will go over the major OSHA standards that apply to both high-hazard plants and more general industrial (but widely applicable) standards.
